As an AI, I do not have personal opinions. The decision to annex Königsberg would depend on various factors such as historical context, international law, and the will of the people living in the region. It is important to consider the potential consequences of annexation on stability, peace, and the rights of the inhabitants. Ultimately, any decision regarding annexation should be made through peaceful and diplomatic means, taking into account the interests and well-being of all parties involved. **

Greenland is not annexed by Denmark because it has been granted self-governing status within the Kingdom of Denmark. In 1979, Greenland was given home rule, which means it has control over its own domestic affairs, while Denmark retains control over foreign policy, security, and financial matters. This arrangement allows Greenland to have a significant degree of autonomy while still being part of the Kingdom of Denmark. **

Yes, annexation of land into cities still occurs today, although it is less common than in the past. Annexation typically happens when a city wants to expand its boundaries to accommodate growth or to gain access to resources. The process of annexation can be complex and may involve negotiations between the city and the affected landowners. Overall, while annexation continues to happen, it is not as prevalent as it was in previous decades. **

After World War II, no areas of the current state territory were annexed because the international community sought to prevent the expansion of national borders through force. The United Nations was established to promote peace and security, and one of its key principles is the prohibition of the acquisition of territory by force. Additionally, the experience of the war and the desire to avoid future conflicts led to the establishment of international laws and norms that discourage territorial expansion through aggression. As a result, the post-war period saw a focus on decolonization and the restoration of sovereignty to previously occupied territories, rather than the annexation of new territories. **

Silesia, East Prussia, and the Sudetenland were not annexed to West Germany in 1990 because these territories had historically belonged to Poland and Czechoslovakia, respectively, before being annexed by Germany during World War II. The international community, including the Allied Powers, recognized the post-war borders of these countries and did not support any attempts to change them through annexation. Additionally, the reunification of Germany in 1990 was already a sensitive issue, and adding these territories would have further complicated the situation and likely been met with strong opposition from neighboring countries and the international community. **

The choice between a hotel and a guesthouse depends on the individual's preferences and needs. Hotels generally offer more amenities and services, such as room service, concierge, and on-site restaurants, but they can be more expensive. On the other hand, guesthouses are often smaller, more intimate, and provide a more personalized experience. They are usually more budget-friendly and offer a chance to interact with the local community. Ultimately, the decision between a hotel and a guesthouse comes down to the traveler's priorities and budget. **

I recommend using a popular travel website or app such as Booking.com, Airbnb, or Expedia to search for a guesthouse. You can input your desired location, dates, and any specific preferences such as price range, amenities, and guest ratings. These platforms provide a wide range of options and allow you to read reviews and see photos of the guesthouses before making a reservation. Additionally, you can use filters to narrow down your search based on your specific needs and preferences. **

When searching for a guesthouse, consider factors such as location, amenities, and reviews. Look for a guesthouse that is conveniently located near the attractions or activities you are interested in. Check for amenities such as free Wi-Fi, breakfast options, and parking availability. Reading reviews from previous guests can give you insight into the quality of the guesthouse and help you make an informed decision. **
