While providing netbooks to elementary school children can enhance their learning experience and help them develop digital literacy skills, it is important to consider the potential drawbacks. Not all families may have access to reliable internet or the resources to support the use of a netbook at home. Additionally, there are concerns about screen time and the potential negative effects on children's physical and mental health. Therefore, it is important to carefully assess the individual needs and circumstances of each student and their family before implementing a universal netbook program for elementary school children. **
