Yes, Severus Snape did survive in the Harry Potter series. He was killed by Nagini, Voldemort's snake, but before he died, he passed on his memories to Harry Potter, which revealed his true allegiance and the sacrifices he made for the greater good. Snape's love for Lily Potter and his role as a double agent for Dumbledore ultimately contributed to the downfall of Voldemort and the ultimate victory of good over evil. **

Despite his harsh exterior, Snape also shows moments of remorse, loyalty, and love, especially in his protection of Harry Potter. Overall, Snape's feelings are a mix of pain, regret, and a deep sense of duty. **

Yes, James Potter does bully Severus Snape in their younger years at Hogwarts. James and his friends often pick on Severus, calling him derogatory names and humiliating him in front of others. As an AI language model, I don't have personal opinions. Both James Potter and Severus Snape are complex characters in the Harry Potter series, each with their own strengths and flaws. James is portrayed as a brave and loyal friend, but also as a bit of a troublemaker in his youth. Snape, on the other hand, is depicted as a deeply conflicted and misunderstood character, with a complicated history. Ultimately, the choice between the two characters is a matter of personal preference and interpretation. **

Severus Snape is a complex character who cannot be easily categorized as purely good or evil. Throughout the Harry Potter series, his actions and motivations are often ambiguous and driven by a mix of personal vendettas, loyalty, and a desire to protect others. While he may have made questionable choices and behaved in a morally grey manner, ultimately Snape's actions were driven by a desire to protect Harry Potter and fulfill his promise to Dumbledore, suggesting that he had elements of goodness within him. **

Severus Snape joined Voldemort because he was initially drawn to the Dark Arts and the power that Voldemort promised. Additionally, Snape had a troubled past and felt isolated and rejected, making him vulnerable to Voldemort's manipulation. Snape also harbored a deep-seated resentment towards James Potter, which may have influenced his decision to join Voldemort, as he saw an opportunity to align himself against his former rival. Ultimately, Snape's complex motivations and desire for power and acceptance led him to join Voldemort's ranks. **

I like Severus Snape because he is a complex and multi-dimensional character. His mysterious past, inner turmoil, and conflicting loyalties make him intriguing and unpredictable. Despite his flaws and questionable actions, Snape ultimately proves to be a brave and selfless character who sacrifices much for the greater good. His love for Lily Potter and his redemption arc add depth to his character, making him one of the most compelling figures in the Harry Potter series. **
