Paper straws are biodegradable and can decompose naturally, while plastic straws take hundreds of years to break down and contribute to environmental pollution. Additionally, paper straws are made from renewable resources, such as paper or bamboo, while plastic straws are made from non-renewable fossil fuels. Finally, paper straws are safer for wildlife, as they are less likely to harm marine animals if they end up in the ocean.
