"Wetlands" is a German film directed by David Wnendt, based on the novel of the same name by Charlotte Roche. The movie follows the story of a rebellious and sexually adventurous teenage girl named Helen, who ends up in the hospital after an intimate shaving accident. Throughout the film, Helen reflects on her dysfunctional family life and explores her own desires and boundaries. "Wetlands" is known for its explicit and provocative scenes, as well as its dark humor and unapologetic portrayal of female sexuality. **

The movie Wetlands did generate controversy and scandal due to its explicit and graphic content, particularly its portrayal of bodily fluids and sexual taboos. The film's provocative and boundary-pushing nature sparked debate and divided opinions among audiences and critics. While some viewed it as scandalous and shocking, others appreciated its bold and unapologetic approach to exploring themes of sexuality and bodily autonomy. Ultimately, whether the movie was considered a scandal or not depended on individual perspectives and sensibilities. **

In the novel "Wetlands" by Charlotte Roche, the brother's childhood trauma is related to an incident where he accidentally caused the death of his pet hamster. This event has had a lasting impact on him, causing him to feel guilt and shame. The trauma has also affected his relationship with his sister, as he struggles to cope with the memory of the incident. This childhood trauma plays a significant role in shaping the brother's character and his interactions with others throughout the novel. **

The choice between a hotel and a guesthouse depends on the individual's preferences and needs. Hotels generally offer more amenities and services, such as room service, concierge, and on-site restaurants, but they can be more expensive. On the other hand, guesthouses are often smaller, more intimate, and provide a more personalized experience. They are usually more budget-friendly and offer a chance to interact with the local community. Ultimately, the decision between a hotel and a guesthouse comes down to the traveler's priorities and budget. **

I recommend using a popular travel website or app such as Booking.com, Airbnb, or Expedia to search for a guesthouse. You can input your desired location, dates, and any specific preferences such as price range, amenities, and guest ratings. These platforms provide a wide range of options and allow you to read reviews and see photos of the guesthouses before making a reservation. Additionally, you can use filters to narrow down your search based on your specific needs and preferences. **

When searching for a guesthouse, consider factors such as location, amenities, and reviews. Look for a guesthouse that is conveniently located near the attractions or activities you are interested in. Check for amenities such as free Wi-Fi, breakfast options, and parking availability. Reading reviews from previous guests can give you insight into the quality of the guesthouse and help you make an informed decision. **
